Have you noticed the jokers running around with their hats on crooked? The purpose of a hat is to provide shade for your eyes. Apparently, it's the style to wear clothing in such a way that it's no longer practical.
Like the guy in this picture, who is no doubt incredibly cool due to the crooked hat he's wearing, and the "Wassup, bitches!" attitude he's got going on. He's straight out of an episode of Jersey Shore, only worse, because he's not making tonnes of money for looking like an idiot.
