Last summer, my family rented a cottage up in Northern Ontario. It's a long drive, so we listened to my wife's iPod Nano for the majority of the trip. After we finished going through her playlist, she rested it on the passenger side door of our Honda Civic.
When we arrived at our cottage and parked the car, I went to pick up the iPod Nano, and discovered that it fit very snuggly into the handle of the car door.
It's just my luck, that on the very first minute of my relaxing vacation, I have to spend it cursing and swearing trying to get the thing out of the car door. Eventually, I found a knife and pried it out.
Just one more piece of anecdotal evidence for Murphy's Law.
