Earlier this week I was at a water park and sat behind a woman with a tattoo on her lower back. It was of a butterfly, with the word "believe" on top.
However, it was spelled "BELEIVE". Ouch. There's no better way to broadcast your lack of spelling skills than with an incorrectly spelled tattoo. Well done!
When in doubt, remember:
"i" before "e" except after "c"
I wonder if the tattoo artist noticed the mistake halfway through the design and then decided to just keep going? In any case, it appears that even tattoo artists need Spellcheck from time to time.
