Just empty the trash... don't wait for someone else to do it.

Have you ever noticed that people will delay changing the garbage bag or emptying recycling bin as long as humanly possible, in the hopes that someone else will do it? 


We've all been in that situation:  you go to throw out your banana peel, only to notice that the garbage bin is pretty full.  But, you don't feel like changing it yet, so you place the banana peel in the garbage.  A few hours later, you need to throw out a styrofoam container from your delicious fast-food dinner the night before... but now the garbage bin has reached a critical point, and you realize that there really isn't any room for the styrofoam container... placing the container will certainly cause the trash to overflow...



Now, you have a choice.  You can, A) Empty the bin, which allows you dispose of your trash and helps the next person out, or you can, B) Gently place the styrofoam on top of the heaping pile of trash in the hopes that the next person who goes to throw something out will empty the bin.
