Stupid tea pots at restaurants

Have you ever noticed you go to a nice classy restaurant, you have a nice meal, then the server comes to ask your table, "Could I get you some desert, a coffee, tea or a cappuccino?", and you think to yourself, "A tea would be great". So you jump with excitement and say "Tea please!" and next thing you know, you get this piece of crap:

Now you're struggling because it's filled with hot water, so you dip your tea bag in it, try to pour your tea into your cup, and half of it spills on the table through the stupid little opening at the mouth, either because it doesn't close properly, or because the spring on the end is broken and won't keep the lid closed while you pour thinking that it's just a piece of shit design!

So of course, half your water is wasted on the table, and now everyone is looking at you trying to clean up your mess. Then of course, you manage to get through your first cup and decide you'd like more, so you try to pour whatever is remaining in your pot, but of course, because the pot is all METAL including the damn handle, you burn your fingers trying to grab the handle.

Then you think to yourself, "Well, maybe if I pour it quickly, it won't spill". Good luck with that. Instead, all you do is make a mess quicker. So now you feel like a jackass and an idiot for ordering tea while everyone else at the table got their coffee poured for them in a nice cup.

Here's a tip for you restaurant owners: Why don't you either prepare the tea in a big pot similar to the coffee pot or stop being cheap and invest in better tea pots!!!

Next time I go to a restaurant that delivers one of these, I'm going to make the server pour it for me and then when they make a mess, I'm going to ask them, "Do you feel like an idiot now?"
